Board of Directors

Paul B. Scott

PB Scott is the Chairman, CEO and principal shareholder of the Musson Group.

He joined the group in 1994 and became CEO in 2004 succeeding Desmond Blades. In 2009 he was appointed chairman of the board. He is responsible for the strategic direction, performance and overall operations of the Musson Group and all of its subsidiaries including the Facey Group, PBS Group, Seprod, T. Geddes Grant Distributors ltd. And General Accident Insurance among others. He led Musson’s expansion into IT and telecommunication distribution while continuously growing its investments in consumer goods, manufacturing and insurance.

In addition to his responsibilities at Musson he serves on many public boards and commissions. He is a trustee of the American International School of Jamaica and currently is Chairman of the Development Bank of Jamaica (DBJ). He is the Honorary Consul General in Jamaica for the Republic of Guatemala and in 2016 he was elected as President of the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica.  


Melanie Subratie

Melanie Subratie is the Vice Chairman of Musson Jamaica Ltd.

She joined the group in 2002 as the first CEO of Productive Business Solutions and has been instrumental in supporting the development of our non food businesses. She is a Director of all Musson’s subsidiaries and affiliates. Mrs. Subratie is the Chairman of Transaction E Pins, Productive Business Solutions Jamaica Ltd, the audit committee of Seprod and the investment committee of General Accident Insurance ltd. She is the Deputy Chairman of T. Geddes Grant Distributors Ltd, Eppley Ltd. And General Accident Insurance Company Ltd.

Currently Melanie is responsible as Chairman and CEO of Stanley Motta Limited for the development of the Caribbean’s largest technology Park at 58 Half Way Tree in Kingston. She has lead Musson’s expansion into property development and is managing several new developments.

Mrs. Subratie is an active angel investor and is a board member of the First Angel group of investors. She has successfully invested in many startups in the region. She is Chairman of the Group’s two foundations where their work in coding has lead to 1000s of children being trained as well as teachers. She is Chairman of the Edna Manley School of the Arts and participates in many public sector initiatives.

Mrs. Subratie began her career in the United Kingdom in the Financial Services division of Deloitte and Touche and is a graduate of the London School of Economics holding a B.Sc.

Niall T. O’Brien

Niall O’Brien was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Facey Group on October 1, 2013. Mr. O’Brien is also a director of several companies within the Group. Prior to assuming this role, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer for four years and oversaw the Group’s Telecom operations globally.

He has over fifteen years’ experience in financial and general management across several countries in the broadcasting, telecommunications, property and distribution industries. Mr. O’Brien is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ireland, and an Associate of the Irish Taxation Institute.

Patrick Scott

Patrick Scott is the Executive Vice Chairman of the Facey Group and a director of the Musson Group.

Mr. Scott has worked for Facey for a combined total of 50 years in various roles, including Managing Director, a position he held for 16 years. He serves on the Board of Directors of many companies, including P.A. Benjamin, Serge Island Dairies, International Biscuits and Serge Island Farms.

Mr. Scott attended Seneca College and Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada.

Maxim G. Rochester

Maxim G. Rochester is an independent non executive director of the Company. Mr. Rochester – B.Sc. (Accounting) Hons. FCA, FCCA. Max is a member of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (UK) and The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica.  He was also a member of the Accounting Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Jamaica (ICAJ) and played a significant role in the adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards in Jamaica.  He also presented several papers at seminars hosted by ICAJ.
Mr. Maxim G. Rochester is a former Territory Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers and was responsible for the quality and delivery of the audit of the financial statements of several major companies.  As engagement partner, Max was responsible for the overall planning and execution of audit strategies and had the ultimate decision making responsibility on all audit matters.

Rob Van den Blink

Based in Miami, Rob oversees day-to-day operations of Facey Telecom, partner relationships and business development.With us since 2002, he has managed teams that launched new operations in the majority of our markets across the Caribbean and Central America. While establishing operations he lived full time in these countries, including three years in Haiti. He was responsible for everything from setting up clients’ infrastructures and recruiting management and staff, to developing sales channels from the ground up. He also helped guide new market launches outside of the region, such as Papua New Guinea.

Before joining Facey Telecom, Rob was in the senior management team of Claridge’s, London. Prior to that, he studied hotel management in his native Netherlands.

Rob is married, and outside of work he enjoys music, photography and tennis.

Katyane Meiman

Katyane Meiman serves as Senior Vice President, Business Development Director and is responsible for the company's relationships with key OEMs, strategic innovation partners, independent software vendors and developers. She is part of Facey’s leadership corporate strategy team and she has been with the company since July 2012. During her 19-year experience in Telecommunications, she held various leadership positions and was responsible for strategic planning and execution, sales, marketing, product development, and social responsibility. Ms. Meiman’s individual qualifications and skills that led to the conclusion that she should serve as a director include her extensive experience in the technology, media and the telecommunications sectors, including her knowledge regarding strategic planning and execution, technology development, human resources, labor relations and corporate communications. In her current position, Ms. Meiman is responsible for developing Facey Telecom’s strategic direction and integrating new services and technologies.
